The simplest way to lose weight is, whatever you’re eating, cut down the full meal portion at about 10%. Or Skip 1 meal, or ditch the snacks, or cut them down.
For the love of god, do not starve yourself, when you quit and go back to you normal routine, you will gain back the weight and more. We are making SMALL and SLOW changes. Not FAST and I want it NOW. Give it time to work.
Instead of eating 12” pizza, eat a 9”, or 9 beers, drink 8. Small things like this make a big difference over time.
Eat more protein and food with fibre. It will make you feel fuller with less calories.
A Safe Weekly Body Fat Loss Rate is 0.5% - 1% of total body weight per week
This typically equates to 0.2% - 0.5% body fat loss per week
So someone who is 80kg will loose 400-800g a week. Then when their 75kg, it’s now 375-750g
After about 2 months of this, go on maintenance for a few weeks, so your body has time readjust to the new calories, then repeat, if you want to loose more.
Find something that gets your heart pumping, not red face sweating. Something that makes you feel your heart beat in your chest a bit.
MAKE IT FUN. If it's not fun, you will not stick to it. Tennis, swimming, light jog, walking. Have something for yourself that you can do on your own, and something you do with friends.
30min to 1 hour x 3 days a week (of anything) should do the trick
Walk 20 minutes everyday. Catch up on your podcast, audiobook, album…anything that YOU enjoy. And try and add more over time. Don't get to exsited and do to much, then get bored of it. We want constancy.
